The Effect Size of the Science Teachers’ Scientific Method Knowledge on the Planning and Implementing the Scientific Method

The minimum learning standard in enabling students to be actively involved building knowledge and skills is the application of scientific method. scope activities consists observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning, communicating. purpose this study was discover effect size natural science teachers' method on integrating lesson planning teacher's implementing learning. samples were 50 teachers assigned randomly from 146 junior high school Kendari City, Indonesia. data collection instrument a five-step description test whereas regarding plans collected using questionnaire, implementation used lesson-plan assessment sheet class. Data analyzed paired statistic SPSS version 24 program determine method, while determining Cohen's d test. Results showed that 114 % or large effect, 63,2 intermediate effect.
